As CSO of Century Financial, Sameera works towards advancing the net-zero strategy and integrating the ESG framework across the organization. She also forges partnerships with government, public, and private entities. Recently, the company joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), aligning with its long-term vision.
Sameera wears two hats: she is a Global Educationist and a corporate veteran with over 23 years of experience at companies such as Sun Microsystems, Nokia, Al Ghurair, Jet Airways, and Paris Gallery. She has over 50 features published in Gulf News’ Friday magazine.
She is a member of the European Boardroom Advisors and the Institute of Directors, and the Board of Century Financial. She also serves as Chairwoman of the Dubai Chambers Stockbrokers and Investment Services Business Group.
Focused on Sustainable Investments and Impact Investing, Sameera leads initiatives targeting climate neutrality, waste management, and resource efficiency. An accomplished author, she has written two books—”The Price of Truth” and “Educating the Next.”
Sameera has published over 50 research papers globally and is pursuing a PhD in Global Leadership competencies. She holds a certification in Leading Sustainable Corporations from the University of Oxford and focuses on Private Markets and Alternative Investments.
